I absolutely loved Special Effects Programming with WebGPU! It completely changed my perspective on webgpu. At first I wasn't sure about Programming, but by chapter 3 I was completely hooked. The way the author explains Books is so clear and relatable - it's like they're talking directly to you. I've already recommended this to all my friends who are interested in graphics. What I appreciated most was how the book made shader feel so accessible. I'll definitely be rereading this one - there's so much to take in!

Book club discussion: Special Effects Programming with WebGPU - chapter 11 thoughts?
I'm halfway through Special Effects Programming with WebGPU and simulation is blowing my mind!
I think the author could have developed graphics more, but overall great.
I'd add that compute is also worth considering in this discussion.
For me, the real strength was simulation, but I see what you mean about ai.
Have you thought about how ai relates to simulation? Adds another layer!

I'm not sure I agree about compute. To me, it seemed more like programming.

I completely agree! The way the author approaches ai is brilliant.
Great point! It reminds me of simulation from another book I read.

Interesting perspective. I saw graphics differently - more as simulation.
